Summer Reading Challenge
Wherever you go this summer, books, e-books, and audiobooks make great travel companions! Students entering grades K-6 have an additional reason to keep reading this summer: the SFX summer reading program. Students who document at least 5 books they read this summer will receive a reward in September (tasty treats and free books are likely prizes). Forms can be found here:
Grades K-3 Flyer and Grades 4-6 Flyer.

2025-2026 Lunch Information
- The Vermont state legislature continues to maintain the policy that the Free lunch for all students does not apply to independent/religious schools. Because of this, SFX has no choice but to charge for school provided lunches. This year we had to once again increase the price we charge due to an increase in our cost. This year's lunch price will be $5.00 (includes a milk). A milk purchased separate from a meal will continue to cost $0.60.
- While free lunch for all is not being made available for our students, the Federal Free & Reduced lunch program is still available and all families are encouraged to send in an application and see if they qualify.
