Middle School
6th Grade through 8th Grade
St. Francis strives to support each middle school student as he/she is challenged to grow academically and in personal responsibility and independence.
-
Each day starts with morning meeting in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade homerooms.
-
From there, students move around the building to five core academic classes and a rotation of six specials classes.
-
Technology is integrated appropriately to support instruction through a 1:1 Chromebook program. Students learn to work independently and collaboratively through Google Classroom.
-
Middle school students serve as role models and buddies for the school’s younger students, helping them at weekly Mass and joining them for classroom projects.
-
Students have opportunities to join clubs that meet during and after school that enrich their experience in faith, academics, and athletics.
-
Students leave St. Francis at the end of middle school with a dynamic skill set that prepares them for an ever-changing world.
