I grew up in the small town of Enosburg, Vermont.  I went to St. Michael’s College (SMC) in Colchester and graduated in 1995 with a degree in journalism.  I met my husband, Chris while at SMC and we were married in their beautiful chapel on October 5, 1996.

Chris and I are the proud parents of five incredible children.  After an eight year career providing marketing support for an international group of laboratories, I was blessed to be able to be a stay at home Mom and foster our children’s love of God, life and learning.  I also spent countless hours volunteering in their school and providing enrichment programs.  When our youngest child entered kindergarten, I followed her and began substitute teaching in the school.  The following year I was hired as a paraprofessional and provided 1:1 special education support for a variety of students.

When our two youngest children were entering 6th and 4th grade we decided that we wanted them to receive the gift of Catholic education that we were seeing the benefit of from our oldest 3 children’s experience at Rice Memorial High School, so we transferred them to St. Francis Xavier school.  Again, I followed them; and began substitute teaching at SFX.  In 2018, I was hired in the role of Student Aide and it is by far the best job I have ever had.  Working at SFX is like coming to work at my second home and with my second family every day.  I love that I get to work with a variety of students, in variety of grades from PK-8.  I see my role as helping each student embrace and succeed with any obstacles they may face, while finding and celebrating the individual strengths that God has given them.
