Assuming the role of Principal at Saint Francis Xavier School in the summer of 2021 is a tremendous privilege and a continuation of my journey in Catholic education. I feel blessed that the journey has brought me to this very special community of learning and faith.

I lived just outside of Philadelphia before moving to Middlebury, Vt. in 2012. I grew up an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed Phillies partial season tickets with my twin brother for several years. Currently, I enjoy hiking with my wife and three children -- while still following my favorite sports teams from a distance. .

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (cum laude) from Gwynedd-Mercy University, where I saw firsthand the positive impact that a Catholic institution of learning can have on the lives of students. I earned highly qualified teaching status in Vermont. My first teaching job in the Green Mountain State was at St. Mary’s School in Middlebury, where I also served briefly as interim principal. l have over ten years of teaching and administrative experience at the elementary, middle and high school levels and I have supervised student council, service projects, soccer, basketball, cross country, and chess clubs.

I came to Saint Francis Xavier as the middle school social studies teacher in 2016 and eventually served as the lead teacher in middle school. I look forward to my new role as principal of the school that has become such an important part of my life, combining my deep commitment to my faith and mission to teach in light of Christ.
