Show You Care – Adopt a Chair!

 

News flash – the folding chairs we use in the cafeteria and for assemblies in the gym are VERY old. And rusty. And scratched. And rickety.

 

Every year, a few break down completely and have to be tossed. Some need to be soldered back together to remain barely usable. They are increasingly sad chairs and they are begging us to let them retire.

 

A donor has heard their pleas and has stepped forward to help. The cost of a new chair (with shipping) is $30 and we need 200 of them, so the total cost of replacement is $6,000. Our generous donor has primed the “chair” pump with $4,000. This gets us 133 ⅓ new chairs. So now we are turning to our friends in the SFX School and Parish community asking for help to get our final 66 ⅔ chairs  - no one wants to have to sit on only ⅓ of a chair! 

 

You can help by adopting one or more chairs at $30 a piece. For every chair you adopt, we will place a personalized sticker on the bottom of the seat indicating that you are the proud parent of a shiny, new folding chair! Think how envious your friends will be of your new addition to the SFX family. We’ll even let you sit on the lap of the new arrival! 

 

This amazing offer is open for one month – we’ll be wrapping up this effort right after Easter! Fair warning... we have puns and we aren’t afraid to use them. If you want to spare yourself and others the pain of bad puns, adopt a chair now! We promise we’ll “chairish” it always!
