Hi there! My name is Sydnie Healy and I’m so honored and excited to be a part of the Pre-K classroom!
I started working at Saint Francis Xavier in the afterschool program in the Fall of 2024 and quickly learned that there’s nothing more rewarding and fun than watching little minds grow, learn, and explore.
I grew up in Massachusetts but have proudly called Vermont home since 2021. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Nursing from Saint Anselm College, and while I didn’t imagine myself teaching, I always knew I wanted to focus my heart and compassion on giving a helping hand to others, especially children! My goal is to bring that to the classroom by helping to create a warm, welcoming space where every child feels safe, loved, ready, and excited to learn.
When I’m not in the classroom, you can find my fiancé and I along with our two dogs, out and about hiking, paddling, golfing, and exploring Vermont. In the Fall and Winter I spend my weekends at Whitcomb's Land of Pumpkins and Corn Maze!
I can’t wait to help students build the confidence, skills, and faith they'll carry with them for years to come. I am thrilled to be a part of the SFX community!
