St. Francis Xavier School

St. Francis Xavier School has been a big part of my life since my oldest son, Andrew, started Pre-K here in 2006. As our family grew, our children Larissa, Kaitlyn, and Cece all followed in Andrew’s footsteps at St. Francis.  My husband Mike and I fell in love with the school community from the start and we have both enjoyed volunteering and being part of the many parent organizations here. In fact, Mike showed up to help construct the school playground before our son even began attending school!

 

My connection to Saint Francis grew even stronger when I joined the staff as a Pre-Kindergarten Aide in 2015. Working with Miss Micky, watching the children under our care grow and develop, and being even more tightly woven into the fabric of Saint Francis Xavier School has been a huge blessing for me.  In 2019, I was excited to take on a new position as the Development Coordinator.  I will be working closely with the Director of Development and Marketing to share the wonderful stories of St. Francis.

 

I graduated from Shenendehowa High School, in Clifton Park, NY, but I’ve been proud to call myself a Vermonter since 1997.  I followed my heart to Vermont after I met and married Mike, who worked for IBM originally and is now employed by Global Foundries.

 

I love photography and watching my children participate in their many sporting events. You may see me with camera in hand capturing as many special moments as I can of my family and friends in action. In the summer I am particularly happy if I find myself sitting at a beach enjoying the sun, sand, and water.
