St. Francis Xavier School

I grew up in Burlington and attended Mater Christi School and Rice High School. I'm grateful for the opportunity to revisit my Catholic school roots and work alongside some familiar faces and all of the wonderful faculty and staff at St. Francis. 

 

I have experience working with children in summer camp, day camp, afterschool, and tutoring settings, but I am learning much more by working with them in a school setting. Research has shown that children who receive quality early education are more successful, and even healthier, as adults. I truly believe that quality early childhood education can improve our society, economy, and environment, and I hope I can make a difference as an educator. 

 

Outside of work, I enjoy biking, hiking, traveling, reading, playing piano, and spending time with my parents and three sisters, two of whom live in Burlington. I have a bachelor's degree in biology and recently earned my master's in environmental science. I love learning and teaching about all things science and sustainability!
