Mr. Eric Becker - Principal

I am originally from the state of New Jersey. I arrived in Vermont to attend Castleton State College. While at Castleton, I received a Bachelor of Science in Practice in Physical Education (Elementary and Secondary Teachers Certification) and Bachelor of Arts in Social Science Major-by Contract, (Sociology and Health).
I started my teaching career in the Addison Rutland Supervisory Union, teaching at Benson Village School and Orwell Village School. I took a year away from teaching before becoming a teacher at Saint Francis Xavier School in 2006. During my time here, I have been the full-time gym teacher, after school director, part-time computer teacher, assistant principal, health teacher, 6th-grade math teacher, and technology coordinator. Each of these rolls has had a lasting impact on my role as principal.
I currently live in Georgia, Vermont with my wife, Miranda, who is a high school English teacher.
As principal of Saint Francis Xavier School, I have the distinct pleasure of getting to know each student and family and watching them grow. I am also so honored to represent such a strong and loving community.
