Mrs. Noreen Pelchat - Music

It is to my delight that I am again making St. Francis Xavier my home.    I grew up on a dairy farm in Colchester, Vermont and attended St. Francis Xavier School from first through eighth grade.  I then went on to Rice High School, Champlain College and the University of Vermont.

Music has been a part of my life from taking piano lessons starting in third grade (at the convent), to taking flute and playing in the high school band, singing with the St. Francis Xavier folk group (and many other church choirs), directing choirs, singing at funerals and weddings, and giving lessons for voice, flute, guitar and piano.

I live in Essex Junction with my husband of 22 years and our son who is currently attending Vermont Technical College. Our daughter is attending John Paul the Great Catholic University in California.  If you visit our house you will see an energetic guard dog keeping an eye out for our laying hens.

Thank you for the privilege of teaching your children.   There is nothing equal to the joy of music!  “Music is the prayer the heart sings”.
